We understand that working with an organization such as ours can prompt questions and concerns.  How well can we interpret and satisfy your needs?  How much does it cost?  How long will it take?  Will I be happy with the end result?   Details of our Working Relationship during the Website Design Process   The first step in any of our services is analysis of your business needs.  The consultation process is provided at no cost to you.  We'll schedule an initial meeting with your key people.   At this information gathering meeting, topics of discussion will include:  features and benefits of your products or services, target audience, goals, objectives, preferences, and job specifications such as copywriting, photography and illustration.  The more prepared and specific you are, the more progress will be achieved.  Depending upon what is accomplished during our initial meeting, a second exploratory meeting may need to be scheduled.   Although the initial consultation process can be time-consuming, it is absolutely crucial to the success of your project.       Once we have completed the exploratory phase, we can discuss project costs.  Like all service providers, our pricing is based on the time we invest in your project.  Project costs will range, depending on our client's requirements.  We will provide an estimate for your approval before starting your project.  We adhere to our estimates unless your project specifications change midstream.  In this case, any variation from the estimate will be discussed with you before action is taken.  When you decide to go forward, your domain name(s) will be secured (if necessary) and we will ask for a deposit prior to starting work.  The amount of the deposit will vary, based upon the requirements of each individual project.   Once work on your project is commenced, you will be provided with a secure Client Project Portal.  You'll find your portal to be like a backstage pass to all aspects of your project.  As quality creative work doesn't often come in the blink of an eye, we will go through a process of trial and error.     Different concepts for the "look and feel" of your project will be posted to your portal for review by your project managers.  These rough concepts consist of anything from page mockups, to samples of graphics, and anything else your project may require.   The initial concepts will be adequate to convey the ideas portrayed, but not so developed as to have wasted time and effort in the case you decide to change course.  You'll be able to supervise the ongoing work every step of the way through project completion.   Many factors come into play during the development process.  Developing creativity is a very labor-intensive process.  Although we wish it were otherwise, the creative process requires research, thinking time and the working through of different concepts.  Outstanding creative work requires your good, thorough input.  Generally, the quicker you provide input, the faster your project moves along.  Project completion times vary from a few weeks to a few months.  Our goal is to keep your project moving ahead smoothly, and cost effectively so that we produce even better results than you expect from us.   Most, if not all, of your project will be developed in your secure portal before being uploaded to your own site.  Your site will be tested in many ways before delivery.  For starters, we'll thoroughly test it on different platforms, in different browsers, and at different screen resolutions.  (You won't need any warnings on your site, like "best viewed with Internet Explorer.")  User testing will also be performed before your site goes "live."  Some projects require the final refinements to be completed on your own site before it goes live.  Your domain name will then be activated with the web host you have selected.  We will handle dealing with your web hosting provider for uploading your site.  Final system testing will now be performed.  We'll also assist you in setting up your e-mail boxes and any other initial setup requirements you have.  Once your project has been completed to your satisfaction and is ready for launch, you can make the final payment.  Your job won't be done until you're happy.  Your satisfaction is guaranteed!
